If the ESP32 stops connecting with the PS4 controller using the original setup as shown in the posts, please refer to the PDF guide in here to debug and fix the connection issue. You'd have to upload a code to flush out the paired devices to the ESP32 then upload a new and updated firmware (code) into the ESP32.
